Hoskote Road Widening NH 75 Expansion

The new road design makes driving much faster and safer for everyone. The NHAI is building six central lanes strictly for fast-moving main traffic. They are also adding two separate service lanes on both sides for local village vehicles. This total 10-lane width will stop heavy trucks from blocking normal cars. The land for this widening is already ready with the government, so construction will happen without delays.

The NH 75 expansion connects directly with other huge new roads in the area. Near Kolathur, it meets the new Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) and the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway. Together, they create a fast 69-kilometer transport network inside Karnataka. Drivers can now travel from Hoskote to the Tamil Nadu border very quickly. The old road layout caused huge traffic jams for office workers every day. The Hoskote toll plaza alone sees over 45,000 vehicles passing through daily. To fix this, the long-delayed 800-meter Katamanallur flyover is now 85 percent finished and partly open. This flyover will clear the worst traffic choke points between KR Puram and Hoskote. The NHAI is also adding special access-controlled entry and exit points for a smoother vehicle flow.
