Infrastructure Developments in Hoskote 2026
In 2026, Hoskote is really seeing all the new infrastructure. Roads like STRR and the Bangalore–Chennai Expressway are making travel and transporting goods easy. There are metro extension coming soon. All this industrial growth, new data centres, and logistics parks are creating jobs, while new schools, hospitals, and water supply projects are meeting the increasing demand for housing.

Roads and Expressways
STRR (NH 648):
The 80 km stretch from Dabaspet to Hoskote is now fully open. In 2026, the 21 km link to the Tamil Nadu border will also working. Trucks can now move toward Chennai and Hosur without entering Bengaluru. It saves time and reduces traffic.
Bangalore–Chennai Expressway (NE-7):
The Karnataka section is up and running! They're hoping to wrap up the whole thing by July 2026. Once it's done, the travel time from Hoskote to Chennai will be about 3 hours.
Peripheral Ring Road (PRR):
Land work for the 73 km PRR is really picking up speed in 2026. This road will link Hoskote to Sarjapur and Electronic City.
Metro Plan
A 16 km metro extension from KR Puram to Hoskote is under study. The plan includes a double-decker design, with a metro on top and a flyover below. Key stops may include Budigere Cross, Katamnallur Gate, and Hoskote.
